    On Tuesday evening (5th June) Elderslie at home to Paisley had a narrow win of 3.5 to 2.5 all matches being very close.

  • Jubilee Flag

    The Jubilee Flag Competition was held on Saturday.  The winners were: Silver – Louise Lowe Bronze – Heather Mushet.  

  • Jubilee Texas Scramble

    Despite a wet start 9 teams of ladies and seniors took part in the Jubilee Texas Scramble today (31st May).  The winning team consisted of  Una Hardaker, Mhairi Hutton, Ian Robin and Jim Bruce.  The runners up being Anne Mackenzie, Liz Wilson, Alex Scott and Willie Hamilton. The weather soon improved and everyone enjoyed their game which was followed by a snack lunch in the Clubhouse with a Jubilee theme including Union Jack cakes and Louise sporting a Union Jack apron.

  • Golf Foundation Brooch

    This competition was won by one of our oldest playing members, Mrs Margaret Lang who recently celebrated a “big” birthday.  Not only did Margaret win the Brooch but she also cut her handicap to 19 just beating our youngest member, Junior Heather Mushet, who also broke her handicap. Other recent successes include Louise Lowe winning the Jubilee Quaich, Fiona McGibbon winning the CLIC Sargent Medal and Jane Ross and Norah Black winning the Coronation foursomes. Well done Ladies!

  • Jubilee Texas Scramble

    To celebrate the Jubilee the Ladies are hosting a Texas Scramble with the Senior Gents on Thursday 31st May 2012.  This replaces the annual Texas Scramble which should have been played on 10th April but was cancelled because of bad weather. It is hoped that as many Ladies and Seniors will support this event as possible.   If interested please put your name on the appropriate notices in the locker rooms.

  • Ladies Results

    The West Renfrewshire League match against Caldwell was unfortunately lost on Friday evening 1.5 to 4.5 Our entry to the Children First final was played at Bothwell Castle in wet and windy conditions.  Our team of Isobel Storie, Liz Addison and Elsie Ramsay scored a creditable 68.  The winning score was a 64.
