• Scottish Golf Union – Central Database of Handicaps

    Central Database of Handicaps (CDH): Elderslie Golf Club (Gents & Juniors only for now) is up and running with Central Database of Handicaps (CDH) and are now in a position where everyone can obtain their unique CDH number.  Ladies will administer their CDH as soon as possible. Obtaining your Lifetime Unique CDH ID number:- Access is through the PSI Terminal Main Screen, where you log into competitions. Select Members Services. Select Handicap Information and swipe your card. Your Lifetime Unique ID Number is located at the Top Right Hand Corner of the Screen. Take a note of this number.  If you switch Golf Clubs this number will remain with you & you should inform your new Club of this number. If you already have a number from a previous Golf Club, please provide this number to Match and Handicap. To register with the Scottish Golf Union and access your Handicap Record.  Log into the SGU website at  www.scottishgolf.org/go/cdh_members Select first time log-in  and then you will be prompted for your CDH number. Set-up a user-name, after which you will be registered for CDH. Please pay particular attention to the available Links which,  when accessed, will explain the uses & benefits to the Club Member. Away Competitions Your Lifetime Unique ID Number should also be provided to the host Club for Open Competitions,  assuming they are registered with CDH,  however not all Scottish Golf Clubs have yet registered.   • Extra Medal – Saturday 07th July 2012

    With the COPAN & weather now successfully negotiated,  the Free Saturday on 07th July in the Fixture Card will now also be used  to accommodate a Running Ballot Medal. Running Ballot Medal will be managed along identical lines to a Sunday or Tuesday Gents Medal. NO Forward Booking will be required. Club 2000 will be in operation. Tee Off will be between 07:30 am & 5:30pm,  but Tee will NOT be reserved for the Medal. Prior to playing in Medal please sign in to Proshop (Sweep & Twos) & Club 2000 White Medal Tees will be in operation. On completion of round please enter score in Club 2000 & deposit signed score cards in Competition slots. Members wishing to play only from Box Tees & not compete in the Medal can do so in the normal manner.   [print_link]

    Pencil in Saturday 11 August 2012 for a new competition in the Elderslie Fixture Calendar. The Competition is Open to both Gents / Ladies. Download Entry Form Closing date for entries is Tuesday 31 July 2012. General Information • 3 in a Team, One of team must be a member • Team consisting of all members can enter, • The Ladies Teams will compete separately to Gents • A minimum of 6 ladies teams required to form a ladies competition (if less than above Ladies teams will compete in overall competition). • One junior member (Over 14 yrs age) may play in a team. • Teams will have Full Handicap allowances of all players (competition handicap applies) • The best net stableford score at each hole is the team score Competition Entry • Team Entry Price is £20 per team • Includes voucher for post match food. • Entry Monies Payable on Entry, Sorry No Refunds • Starting times as per ballot • Entry Forms with *entry fee to Pro-Shop *Sorry, NO refunds unless balloted out of competition Prizes • Team Prizes for Gents 1, 2, 3rd , Ladies—Winners only • Winner’s podium will have circa £1500 + worth of prizes • + Numerous On Course Prizes Post Match: • Food ordered / served at tables • Prize Giving will take place approx 30 minutes after final game • Disco & Karaoke entertainment in evening following prize giving  

  • Alasdair McDougall – Junior Tour News

    Alasdair McDougall came joint 4th in the third round of the Scottish Hydro Junior Tour at Rowallan Castle at the weekend. Alasdair carded the lowest round of the weekend with a 68 in his third round. His final round of 74 included an eagle at the par 5 13th. Well done Alasdair!

  • Alasdair McDougall gets Third Place in Scottish Hydro Junior Tour

    A great performance from young Alasdair McDougall saw him scoop third spot at the Scottish Hydro Junior Tour Event No 2 at The Roxburghe. Alasdair had rounds of 71, 72, 72 & 73 to finish level par for the tournament. Well done Alasdair!
