5 juniors had a great time at Pro days, Scott kindly allowed the juniors to play for the first time and take part in this cracking event. Even though they had to play off the white tees Jack Burns won the longest drive on the 13th (John Daly watch out!).  Next year at this rate we will have a junior winner.

  • Scott present new clubs to junior Newton Shield player Josh Campbell

Josh Campbell was over the moon after purchasing his new Callaway junior hot clubs. Scott matched the cheapest price online  and had them delivered to the shop. Just goes to show if you approach Scott for golf equipment he will try and meet if not beat the online prices. Lets hope young Josh can hit many a winning balls with these clubs .

  • Juniors play Barrasie (Kilmarnock) Juniors play Barrasie (Kilmarnock)

12 juniors from the club battled fierce weather today playing a return match at Barrasie. The overall score witnessed Barrasie winning all matches bar one (well done Jack). The juniors continue to learn the harsh reality of competition golf with difficult weather playing a major factor, however it was pleasing to know on their return to Elderslie many of them went out to address their weaknesses. Barrasie were fantastic host with honest hospitality and great food, many thanks to their Junior Convenor Craig for making the day possible. Can I also thank the Dads and Mum who supported driving us there and back, and not forgetting Scott for supporting the juniors in all aspects.
