Seniors Christmas Presentation
Senior’s Section 2016 Christmas Lunch and Presentation of Prizes Once again the Seniors section enjoyed our Christmas Lunch and the presentation of Prizes from our own competitions. Also on this occasion Past Captain Jim Bruce on the behalf of the Senior’s presented the Captain of the Golf Club Robert Reilly with a cheque for £1,000 to be used to purchase and fix mats on the Practice area for the use of all members. Charities Day Presentation of Cheques
We were delighted to present Accord Hospice and Capability Scotland with their cheques for an amazing £1,187.50 from our recent Charities Day Event held last month which raised £2,3750. Vanessa Robinson from Accord Hospice and Sean Donachie from Capability Scotland were both delighted with the sum of money raised and thanked all at the Club for their hard work and support. Elderslie Golf Club Senior’s Open
The Senior’s held their Annual Open Competition on 24/08/2016, this was very well attended, even the sun put in an appearance and the course was in perfect condition to test the competitors. Congratulations to Willie Jones who won the Brookfield Trophy plus the Shaw Trophy, these were presented by Club Captain Robert Reilly and Senior’s Captain Jim Bruce. Congratulations also to all the other golf winners and the winners of the numerous raffle prizes. Thank you to Elderslie Golf club, our Sponsors, and all who participated in the competition, plus many thanks to Brian Graham and the Committee for the organisation and administration that is required over the year to make the event run smoothly.
