  • Lexwell Trophy Lexwell Trophy

Elderslie welcomed over 30 juniors to battle out for this year’s Lexwell Trophy. Players from Ralston, Paisley, Erskine, Kilmacolm, Old Ranfurly and two teams from ourselves prepared themselves for a tough battle in difficult conditions (wet and windy). Many thanks to Colin (Vice Captain) Scott, and the two volunteers who support the scoring. A successful day was concluded with complimentary food and drink enjoyed by all. The presentation was an exciting time with 2 teams in running for the title (Paisley and Old Ranfurly). In the end Paisley (the holders) won it with an impressive 139, they were closely followed by Old Ranfurly on 133 with Elderslie coming 3rd with 129.  A great day was had by all, with numerous comments on how well the course is playing.  Who knows maybe next year our juniors will take the title !!
